Meetings
Educational meetings and institutional tours in the bustling technology and arts hub of Bangalore at Srishti Manipal, Institute of Design & Technology and The Bangalore School of Music will connect colleagues and students with current educational strands and collaborations taking place in India. The centrepiece of India’s film industry is Mumbai, and IMMSANE India 2026 will host a film music industry event and reception at the Royal Opera House Mumbai in collaboration with Avid Learning and other India partners of IMMSANE.
Research
Events hosted by the Goethe Institute Max Mueller Bhavan Bangalore will feature keynotes and papers, as well as screenings and discussions on music and sound art from films of Experimenta Festival , as well as other current research by International colleagues in the industry. The Science Gallery Bengaluru will enable student researchers from IMMSANE institutional partners to conduct artistic research and exhibit their works. Performances by local musicians will take place at the Bangalore International Centre.

Call for papers and presentations
IMMSANE Berlin 2026 opens a call for papers and presentations with the topic of Using Creativity, especially with a focus on human vs. AI creative practices and techniques in media music and sound arts.
Please use the IMMSANE India 2026 Expression of Interest form and include a brief abstract and proposal for IMMSANE India 2026. The deadline for submissions to the programme will be 1st November 2025.
Transportation and accommodation packages
IMMSANE India 2026 is working with a travel agency partner in Bangalore to provide group transportation and accommodation packages in Bangalore and Mumbai for attendees. Please use the IMMSANE India 2026 Expression of Interest form to notify of your interest to receive information about these when they become available.
